YouTube and The Power of Learning

YouTube is a fantastic (and possibly overshadowed) social media platform, a leader in the world of videos, news, entertainment and music. I'm sure a lot of you surf YouTube for a music video you want to see or click a link to a funny clip your mother or father sent you, but there is certainly more to YouTube than that.
I could spend several blog posts talking about the variety and success of YouTube (and I might), but right now I'd like to speak about the 'How To'. YouTube is a great hub for you to pick up a new recipe, how to change a tire, or even wield a light saber - and a 'How To' video is a great/easy way for you and your business to start making videos!
Take fifteen minutes and think about your business, your industry. What are some things you could teach someone about? If you sell a product - you can create a 'how to use' or 'how it's made' type video. If you are service based - perhaps 'how to ensure call ettiquete' or 'how to conduct an interview' would be good options. Of course, you can always be a little goofy and have a blast. For example, if you sell cuttlery, you can make a food series (how to fry an egg, how to carve a turkey, etc.).
In short, YouTube is definitely a spot to be found - and you can join in!
